Loyola Medicine Transport offers an impressive array of services. All offer the highest level of technology including GPS mapping, AVL locators, and online transportation scheduling through ECIN. Each of our vehicles are staffed by highly trained individuals — with just as high levels of compassion for their patients and customers. Because of this, our level of service maintains the highest standards.

Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance

LMT's ALS units boast state-of-the-art equipment and are staffed by advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certified paramedics. ALS paramedics are able to operate mechanized ventilators, 12 lead ECG monitors, SpO2 monitors, and can perform a host of advanced procedures in the field. In addition to advanced airway management, ACLS certified paramedics can perform intraosseous needle placements, surgical cricothyrotomies and external pacing. Our ambulances are also equipped to transport isolettes when infant transportation is necessary.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance

Loyola Medicine Transport BLS units are staffed by two basic emergency medical technicians who can perform basic airway management, monitor simple, non-medicated IV solutions, and are equipped with an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Bariatric Unit

Loyola Medicine Transport has an emergency vehicle specifically designed to provide safe transportation for patients with body weight in excess of standard equipment limitations (400 lbs). Our bariatric unit can be staffed at any level of service from BLS to critical care. The bariatric stretcher is several inches greater in width than a typical stretcher, has strategically placed seatbelts, and can hold up to 1500 pounds. The bariatric ambulance has a motorized winch and ramps for loading patients smoothly; this unit is used upon request or when a patient meets these weight criteria.

Non-Emergency Wheelchair Vans (NEV)

Loyola Medicine Transport has a fleet of non-emergency and wheelchair vans specifically for patient transportation to medical appointments and regular treatments. Our wheelchair vans can seat an additional 7 non-wheelchair bound passengers, and can be equipped for electronic wheelchairs and Amigas. NEV transportation is available Monday through Friday by appointment.

Courier Services are available Monday through Friday.

Event Standbys

Our staff is highly trained for "Special Event Coverage".
Requests for Special Event Services should be made at least one (1) week prior to the event.

Long Distant Transports

There is no distance limit for Long Distance Transport services.
LMT requests a 24 hour notice for each long distance transport request so that all of your transportation requirements can be fufilled.
